Twin Peaks Helps Local Families in Need Through the Adopt A Family Program

Twin  Peaks is again showing its tremendous generosity by participating in the PUSD Adopt A Family program, which is co-sponsored by Palomar Council PTA, and run at Twin Peaks by our capable ASB student leaders.  You may hear from your child that their RAM class is participating.  If so, please consider whether you can provide a modest gift or gift card.  Specific wish lists will be sent home that list the family members for your RAM class’ family and their sizes and suggested gifts.  If you wish to participate, discuss with your child which items on the wish list you are willing to purchase and have your child bring home the gift tag for that item.  You may want to give your child a few acceptable choices in case a particular gift tag has already been taken by another child.   If you do not receive a gift tag, but still wish to participate, just select any item from the wish list.  Gift cards, such as for Target, Wal-Mart or a grocery store, are always welcome and appreciated by the families.  If your student’s class is not adopting a family, you can still contribute a toy or gift card by leaving it in the front office marked Adopt A Family.  If you have a church group, scout troop, Bunco club or similar organization, that would like to adopt a family, please contact Cynthia Iliff-Wright cynthia@lewistools.com 619-954-1560.   100% of all contributions go to the families.  Thank you for your support of this important and worthwhile program.
