“The Choice for Me is Drug Free” is the theme for this year’s Red Ribbon Week, which will be celebrated together with Character Counts! Week from October 17-21, 2011. There will be activities everyday at school, mostly during lunch but there will be an opportunity for parents to join in the effort to clean up litter around our school on Friday after school. You can encourage your student to participate by wearing the featured color each day:
Monday — Wear Blue for Trustworthiness. Music and games at lunch.
Tuesday – Wear Yellow for Respect. Martial Arts Demonstration at lunch.
Wednesday – Wear Orange and Green and dress like a pumpkin for Fairness & Responsibility. Visitor at lunch.
Thursday – Wear Red for Caring and as a pledge to be drug free. Toxic Tobacco Assembly presented by Mad Science.
Friday – Wear Purple for Citizenship. After School Campus Clean-up.
Please encourage your student to join in!
