The Twin Peaks Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a membership-based, volunteer organization dedicated to making each school year a rewarding and enriching experience for our students.
As a volunteer organization, PTSA is integral to the success of many campus events. We organize and provide parent volunteers for important school activities, such as registration, make-up picture day, village parents, library volunteers, TIP, academic awards, 6th Grade Olympics, and ASB events. Your gift of time is essential to the school and a great way for you to stay involved in your student’s school life. Our Volunteering page lists opportunities to suit every passion and commitment level.
As a membership organization, we are part of a larger PTA network that promotes student development and teacher appreciation through the Reflections art program, Red Ribbon Week activities, Character Counts! and teacher/staff appreciation week. A portion of our membership dues is forwarded to the State PTA and the National PTA to support programs and advocacy that benefit of our public schools. Joining PTSA is a way to show power in numbers! You can return your completed membership form and check to the office.
As a support organization for students and the school, we rely on the portion of our membership dues that we retain, some fundraising and on direct donations from parents to support our programs and to help the school in these difficult budget times. Due to budget cuts, our teachers do not have access to the supplies they need to maximize student learning. The current teacher supply budgets have been cut 80% from what they were just three years ago. The library staff has also been reduced impairing the school’s ability to open the library at lunch or after school for students. There are a number of ways you can help, from signing up your Von’s or other loyalty and credit cards to making a direct donation to PTSA for school supplies and library staffing. Please see the Ways to Donate page and make your contribution count!
Thank you for your interest. If you have any questions or fundraising ideas, please contact one of the Board Members listed below.
